Whether you choose to become a respected citizen, a feared criminal, or simply a survivor trying to stay alive, your decisions will shape your story.
Become a **Guard** and protect the remaining settlements. Build a powerful **drug empire**, smuggle illegal goods through dangerous **convoy missions**, establish your own **business**, explore abandoned cities, military checkpoints and hidden underground facilities, or work together with other players to unlock entirely new parts of the world.

GroundZero uses a handcrafted world filled with custom locations, hidden loot, abandoned settlements, military compounds, underground laboratories, and dangerous Points of Interest. Exploration is heavily rewarded, but every expedition comes with risk.
Entire cities can be unlocked through **community objectives**, allowing every player to contribute towards expanding the world. New locations, traders, contracts, and opportunities become available as the community progresses.
